Are you getting help with accessing food?: "I'm so glad this issue has been addressed. I would have really struggled without the vouchers during the holidays. Of course food costs have risen too. I fear it will rise more once we feel the full impact of Brexit in January. We received the vouchers today for the period over Christmas. They will go more towards fresh items such as vegetables, meat and fruit.
We should receive a delivery of a food pack from a charity organised by the school next week. Usually the packs are mostly carb based. They tend to give us potatoes, pasta, rice, cereal, oats, biscuits, eggs tea and milk. It does come in handy. This time I believe they will be sending a full Christmas dinner without the meat.
We're fortunate enough to not have visited the food bank so far."
