Q. How does Covid continue to affect you and your family?
Hi, we've been quite lucky with the whole covid and getting poorly. Just not myself and my family but families around me. I've known and had met so many families who had it. Some of them pretty poorly. One person has been put in hospital and didn't come out. She is recovering, but it's very slow process for her. She possibly might not be the same or completely well by the end of next year. We're looking at that sort of status. And as was double vaccinated and did everything she was supposed and told to do. So that just shows. I've also met families who've had tests that are positive and they're doing fine. We've been shut down with quite a few weird colds that have been sort of fluey, but we did tests and have been fine. Whether false negatives I'm not sure. But the symptoms were there. So, yeah, I don't know whether to believe the test or not. I think what we've done is try to stay away from people and family, stay away from people who are vulnerable which I said in a previous post includes myself. Which I've always said that I think I'm one of these people who have been missed off the list for shielding missed out on extra help for the past new two years now. And I got a letter few weeks ago. "So now that you've now stopped shielding..." I never got a letter saying I should be shielding, I just got a phone call. So that just to shows that many people have been missed off and have never missed out because they've never got that letter in support. So yeah, it's been hard year for many people. It's not changed our life so much.
