Q. With these new changes to Universal Credit coming in, what do you think about this focus on helping working families?
Hi Jim. I think everyone's immune system is low after the last 2 years. I feel the changes don't go far enough as if you only work part time you're not really getting much back in comparison to the £20 cut. This will be hugely beneficial to those working and wanting the higher rates. But what about those unable to work? We are still seeing this work must pay but what if you can't work. We still need a system, whereby everyone has opportunities and every child is afforded the same opportunities to experience the world and learn and develop. Right now this is not happening which saddens me.
