I’m not sure if I am receiving the extra £20 as I live in Scotland. I find the fact that Universal Credit continues to be based on the idea that you should be better off is a totally wrong approach in the current pandemic. People are at such great risk of losing their jobs, yes the furlough scheme is relevant here but surely UC should be reflecting the lack of part time flexible roles now available for single parents, people with disabilities and those that are considered to not have viable skills in this Covid world. The increase should stay. Also the risk of sanctions should be very low.
