Q. Are you having any deductions taken from UC, ESA, Income Support or JSA?
Yes
Q. Can you tell us about the impact it's had on your family?
I currently lose £68 per month from my UC. This is for a tax credit overpayment from 10 years ago. When I first signed on universal credit I lost my whole months first payment due to them taking it all for this. No warning just took it. The £20 a week up lift covers this at the moment so although I don’t get the benefit of the uplift in it being any extra as such but I’m grateful I’m not getting that chunk of money taken out of the pathetic payment I get already. I’m keeping everything crossed it stays until my overpayment is paid.
