As we approach Christmas and New Year I am becoming more anxious for families on low incomes making it through the Brexit stuff in January. There does not seem to be any great mainstream discussion reaching people about how they might prepare for a delay in some food and products reaching us or for a massive rise in prices of certain food etc. Christmas is a major smoke screen for what is going to hit on January 1st and the government have said they do not have responsibility for food emergencies. Christmas is a time of stretching resources already and Jan is renowed for being tricky financially for some famiies, what will happen when these same families realise they don't have the resources to manage the brexit food shortages?
