Q. Have you received any support with food for your children since schools have been closed? And if you have, what was the support like?
am not in receipt of free school meals but my daughter is. In Northern Ireland the government put money into your bank every four weeks in place of the school meals. I think this is far better than the food being sent out in England. The media are reporting about how bad the food that being sent out is but then people are writing on the report things line they should be thankful what they’re getting and they have to get the food sent because they would spend the money on drink and cigarettes if they got it. How people can be so small minded and ignorant is beyond me and I hope they never find themselves in this position when you worry that your kids are hungry.
