All my life, it was drummed into me to stick in at school, pass exams and you will get that job that pays well. Nobody told me, my mother would die young. Nobody predicted my father would run off with the profits from the house. Nobody predicted my partner would be abusive and keep his earnings to himself. Nobody explained the politicians are businessmen who would abuse society. Who would live a life in luxury while working class struggled.
