Q. With these new changes to Universal Credit coming in, what do you think about this focus on helping working families?
Working families should be helped. This situation is hugely indicative of a governmental system only benefiting those in power, where people clearly cannot make ends meet. This being another division between those who are deemed worthy of help. Completely ignoring those not in employment sends a stark message; you are not viewed as a worthy part of society. The disabled, carers, single parent families with young children and refugees (who are unable to work because of bureaucracy). Why not support those to enable themselves too?
