This week we came away to the English seaside to get some temporary escapism from the big city. Things here feel brighter and the beach has been a welcome change of scenery. Restrictions for travel have lifted somewhat but still many people are choosing to stay in England for their summer holiday. Boris Johnson has announced the 21st June lifting of lockdown has been suspended which means yet another month unable to mingle in large groups and still wearing a mask which at this point has made my skin break out in terrible spots and is a constant reminder of this awful pandemic. I've paid so much money for this week's holiday, probably more than I've paid for holidays abroad because the prices have gone up, yet my small income remains the same. I hope things will feel better soon which is something I've very much got used to saying.
