As a lone parent for the past 15 years plus I’ve had no one to share the emotional load of parenting, nor care about how I’m doing as only a significant other would. The feelings of loneliness have been compounded by the pandemic. Whilst I never want to remarry I always hope for a final long term relationship, so have often wondered. And also the question of what If I catch Covid-19 and die, without being loved by someone who truly cares about me. Obviously the boys love me, but it’s not the same.
