Had an important letter to post today. Main post office closed down end of March when Covid restrictions began. Walked for nearly an hour in the rain to sub post office at other end of town, situated in a petrol station to find it was closed for half day as only one royal mail staff works there and she needs to have time off. Walked back home in rain ( no bus service near this destination) Important letter still not sent. I could have scanned and sent letter by email but library has been closed since end of March. Despite numerous calls for another post office to open to allow access for disabled and elderly. The Conservative run council
