What did you think about the new budget? Thoughts on the £20 uplift extension, or what was missing?: "As far as I'm concerned, it isn't a uplift! To accept that low income families need more money and then take it of them is cruel practice at best. We are looking at food prices rising, tax increases, more unemployment and other housing costs increasing. How could any person with morals not see taking money out of households is taking money out of the economy. The long term impact on children and more so women will be catastrophic. Mental Health, poor education again due to lack of accessibility- these all them are reflected in waiting lists for treatment and support. the vicious circle needs to be broken for households on low income and it is up to the government to do this."
