What did you think about the new budget? Thoughts on the £20 uplift extension, or what was missing?: "As usual, the government expects me not only to run around after my demented old Mum managing her finances and trying to arrange hospital appointments, for nothing, but they don't even have a plan for coordinating what the council social worker is prepared to do, for the pittance they get paid, with my Mum's hospital consultants and her local surgery who, after several letters and countless conversations, STILL ring me by default and NOT her social worker! Meanwhile, they can find £37bn for a 'test and trace' system (run by their mates and their mates' spouses and relatives) that has had no measurable impact on transmission rates but can't afford to increase nurses' salaries to keep up with inflation! I'm living in a dystopia."
