My husband was supposed to be at work today, a 12hr shift at Nestlé through an agency, but it was cancelled. Last week he got 1 out of 4 shifts cancelled. The 4 weeks before that he had no work at all. A little over a month ago, he was told to complete online training for a placement at Nestlé as he previous post was on hold, he did a training day, spent hours on his phone reading stuff they sent him. Week after week they would promise work that never materialised. He could've been furloughed for a month and at least have some money, but when you're a zero hours agency worker, you don't matter!
