Had to take my daughter to an outpatients appointment with her surgeon today. For this we have to travel for an hour by train. We’ve been making this journey for 11 years now but today I really noticed the cost implications on an already tight budget. We don’t qualify to get reimbursed as our income is just “too much”. Now she is over 16 I have to buy 2 x adult tickets at peak time. Total cost £24 😰
