I had to complete my final year of an undergraduate degree in lockdown while juggling home learning with my child. The university staff were quite understanding, but some of my course mates were far less than sympathetic. A message on an anonymous site run by students was targeted at me, which still really hurts as I had also spent a lot of time supporting and assisting other students. Unfortunately, I've had to wait until the final exam board to receive my marks, which is at the end of August. I feel as though all my course mates are able to move on and plan the next stages of their education/career, while I'm stuck in limbo. I have applied for another course, but can't confirm my place until I have achieved the necessary minimum grade.
