I heard yesterday that we do qualify for the £500 one off tax credits payment in place of the £20 a week UC uplift. Great news, but all we know is it will be at some point before 23rd April. Why can’t they treat people with a bit of respect and tell us when we will be paid?! Do I pay this months council tax now or buy the kids some new clothes that they desperately need? If I knew when the £500 would be paid then it would make that decision much easier!
