My 2nd Covid reality this week is a question. Why are the products that are usually £1 in the shops now £1.25 - the prices are starting creep up. Also I've seen empty produce shelves in the shops - you can't get an aubergine anywhere for love nor money at the mo. I don't eat them often, but I like to make ratatouille now and again - a healthy, economical one pot meal and I can't. Furthermore, on my online shopping slot with Tesco, which is difficult to secure in the first place, you can only have a maximum of certain items in your basket. I think the impact of Brexit is starting to take hold on top of everything else.
