The news and social media makes my anxiety soar. As I’m reading about the uplift, I am constantly thinking “What about us? Why are we left out?” and then feel powerless about the situation as a whole. This month is going to be extra tight since I’ve started paying interest on my bank account from a payment holiday. Solo parenting plus living in poverty during the pandemic is lonely and isolating. A never ending battle and a constant struggle.
