Today has been a hard day, many of the Christmas events we had planned for the children have now been cancelled, and the prospect of stricter measures or another lockdown seem imminent. The only thing the government are picking up on is to push the booster program as much as possible, but this does nothing to reassure so many of us who have already been through so much over the last 2 years. As the year draws to an end, we are battling against uncertainty and the horror of almost completely unaffordable energy price increases. I’ve only just topped up my meter with £15 a few days ago, and it’s almost gone already. How are we supposed to manage when they’ve cut the £20 a week uplift and removed so many support when we are still very clearly in the middle of a pandemic?
