It has been a while since I last added to my diary. It has all started to open up again for me with work and so now I am looking at another period of major busyness. Our first weekend outdoor group was much busier than I had anticipated so I think we are in for a full term! This is good for business but also it has been quite overwhelming. I feel quite anxious about going from nothing to everything in one week. The first week is done and it has been nice to get back to it all but I do wonder if I am ready for the same intensity week after week- not sure if I am fit enough! After the Summer last year outdoor groups for kids were super popular as parents wanted their kids to socialise and play but outdoors felt safer. I think it's similar this time apart from now it is much more about the mental health of the kids (and the parents) as so many people have struggled much more in this last lockdown.
