Lockdown has a habit of getting the mind into repetitive "what if" narratives. What if we catch the virus? What if I get ill, who cares for my kids then? What if they get ill, will I be able to care for them? What if the virus never leaves, what if lockdown lasts years, what if they never find a vaccine, what if what if what if. Its exhausting. And can easily lead one's mind down a dark rabbit hole of despair and fear.
