My daughter's biggest concern is another lockdown. She's 11. She has just started secondary school. She didn't get her residential, she didn't get to sign the shirts which happens in Northern Irish schools when kids leave primary school, she didn't get to hug her Friends and say goodbye, she had no notice of this and it happened on March 12th. She was off just before St Patrick's day and with NO NOTICE at all she never returned to primary school. Her confirmation and her BBQ was cancelled. Her life was not what she imagined. Now she is settled in her new school but yet she is still only in part time and she's terrified at the tender age of 11 that schools will close again. This is Covid realities through the eyes of an 11 year old girl.
