Q. Where have you had to cut back on? What's been most difficult to find money for?

Basically when my daughter was at the other school. The lunch bag things you got from the government for the school were appalling. I've ranted and raved from a work point of view as part of [anonymised organisation] and from a personal point of view how inadequate and shameful and pitiful and all the other words I can't say on a video. It's not schools problem. Nor do they do anything at all to try and help and assist or put a call out for aid. So looking back actually, because I think I might blanked out the first part of the year, I had to budget. So basically my kids would sit down and have a healthy meal and I'd sit down and have rubbish and I didn't eat well at all. So basically my kids, I didn't want them to realize or see anything different, albeit they new the situation. They've got enough to deal with, then to grow up remembering this time as horrible, awful, struggling time for them personally. So yeah, that's where we struggled at the beginning and I had to stop and think about what I was buying, when I was buying it, and yeah. We ran a food bank that was my saviour I think. We took any food left over that was going to go in the bin at the end of the day. So that was my saviour on that.
