We received a wonderful food parcel this week. Put together by a local church group (but funded by the government) it was the best, most considerately thought through parcel we’ve ever had. They called and asked about dietary requirements first. It contained no useless ‘treat’ food, but loads of fresh fruit and veg, and even really good quality meat (1kg beef mince and 24 sausages)! It was huge and it was only for a week, they’re bringing another one next Monday. I also received a surprise letter in my daughters book bag, containing £15 of Aldi vouchers from the local village council. It’s all such a big help.
