How has COVID-19 impacted your mental health?: "I have a history of chronic depression both post natal & reactive. I am also on long term antidepressant therapy due to my history of low mood, but because it also helps keep the pain from my neurological conditions stable. All in all , I've been taking antidepressants for over 5 years now, since becoming depressed in relation to becoming disabled. I've been through so much crap through my life, the pandemic is just more to wade through. it will come to an end eventually. Being on medication keeps my mood stable & I just carry on carrying on. My fear is more for my 16 y o's mental health - he's struggled a lot & continues to do. Keeping him motivated during the pandemic is my biggest challenge. It's a good job I am on medication otherwise I would start to crack up. I need to stay strong for him, but at times it's difficult because there is no support for me."
