One year on from my Covid Realities birthday. I can be grateful for my family’s good health and my children’s promising development stages. The sibling relationship between my soon to start school son and toddler daughter is a joy to watch. My self-growth in terms of gaining certificate goals just keeps on being met. And what I could not achieve in the year of lockdown, I am working towards meeting it now, because being a survivor does not mean you should be counted out in society, just because your life was hidden in darkness for a long time. Yes, there are still challenges to come, but the best part is this time I will face them with my eyes wide open! Bye bye trusted diary!
